Worth the Hype? Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer *Before & After*

So I finally decided to give this one a go!
I´m always on the hunt for something that can help my pores appear smaller, and I have a box full of different primers. Most of them are ok, and probably more than ok as well, but I just don´t think I will ever get satisfied with anything unless my pores go away completely:p So I might not be the most fair person to judge a pore minimizing product, because we all know a primer won´t make any pores in the world dissapear completely. But it can make the problem less noticeable, there and then - so let´s get into my thoughts, is it worth the hype or not?
I´ve seen many other bloggers and you tubers rave about it!

I have purchased almost all of the primers from Smashbox, and I´m a huge fan.

I´m always on the look for something to reduce my pores, so naturally I had to give this one a try!

New In: MAC Blankety *Review & Swatches*

Mac Blankety, a delicate pigmented lipstick with an amplified finish.
It´s creamy with a pinky beige nude shade, and one swipe is really all you need!

It´s definitely one of my must-have nudes from Mac and it looks absolutely gorgeous with a darker lipliner!

Do you have this color from Mac?
What is you must-have nude shade?

How to treat your damaged hair:) Joico K-Pak Shampoo & Condtioner Kit!

As a hairdresser at heart I love recommending products for your hair!
I really love this shampoo and conditioner, it smells amazing and makes my hair amazing.
If your hair is damaged from let´s say bleaching and heat tools - you should try this :)

Came in this handy bag! Nice for traveling!!

This shampoo and conditioner doesn't weigh your hair down, so it fits those of us with fine hair. It also has a nice rich and creamy formula, which also makes is perfect for thicker and coarser hair!
It is supposed to repair damage, and they claim to go straight to the damaged cuticle filling in lost amino-acids, restoring the elasticity, strength and shine of the hair.

Besides Redken, Joico is one of my favorite brands!

If you are looking for a good quality shampoo/conditioner for your damaged hair, I would definitely give this a try :) It locks in moisture as well as reconstructing your damaged hair and split ends!
Combine with a good reconstructing mask about every fourth hair wash, and maybe the "split end mender" from Joico and you are off to a good start towards healthy hair!

Have you tried this?
If you have a hair care routine post on your blog I´d love to see it! :) xx

*Makeup Haul* Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer + Eye palette, Lancome Color Ideal Foundation & Guerlain Kohl liner

On my last makeup haul I was searching for a new mattifying and pore minimizing primer, of course managed to forget all about it and came home without it.

But as the makeup addict that I am, I had to go out in a new search for this product. I was in desperate need for something giving me matte skin as the Bare Minerals Bare Skin foundation was giving me serious trouble when it came to the not-so-cute-dewy-face-look.
Also since I have major problems with my pores I had the Smashbox primer in mind, and ended up getting that. I also ended up getting a few other things. What a shock.

In my defense, it was a sale on all three things (of course not on the only thing I was supposed to get), and they were all super cheap.

- 1. Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer.

Still trying this one out and before I say anything super positive about it I would like to test it and see if it really is as good as everyone raving on about! First impression is quite good though!
It has the same color and texture as Benefit POREfessional, if that tells you anything. I´m a super fan of that primer so that is definitely a plus!
Will do a review on this later if that is wanted? :)

- 2. Lancome Color Ideal Precise Match Skin Perfecting Make-up, Foundation #3.

As summer is approaching my skin is acting up in all different kinds of ways and it seems it have different needs every day. With means I am in need of different coverage, formula, color, texture, every day. One foundation is simply not enough for me.
This was half of the original price, they had my color and I though it was a great (and cheap) way to try out yet another foundation.
It did not disappoint at all and I really, really, really like it!
Light, but gives enough coverage, nice color, evens out, not too dry or dewy.
Have you tried this foundation?

- 3. Smashbox Full Exposure *travel size* Eyeshadow Palette.

I´ve been wanting this palette for ages, but I never justified getting it.
Apparently all it took was it to be "travel size" and then it was okay. And that it was on sale.
The palette is very pretty and it is perfect for summer and holiday. It is small and takes up minimal space. And that IS a really good argument for getting it, if you look away from the fact that I will be bringing this small, cute, practical and perfect palette ALONG with I guess at least two other normal sized ones.... So the point is sadly not there for me.. BUT is has some beautiful shades and I would love to do a swatch for you :)

- 4. Guerlain Terracotta Kohl Loose Powder #Noir

This is an old favorite of mine. I´ve had this for years, but one day the application tool broke inside the bottle and it was impossible to use (still with a lot of product inside). I never purchased a new one because of the simple fact, it is pretty expensive, but this one was at least 50% off so I just had to get it :D
It is easy to use and it last for hours. the "wand" makes it easy to create a "cat eye" and the packaging is simply gorgeous.

I love haul posts, so if you´ve done any purchases recently please leave your links and I will have a look!
