My First Giveaway! The prize: Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment

*Open internationally*

I finally decided to have a giveaway, I´ve been wanting to do this for a while and finally I found a little something that I thought would be a nice giveaway prize!

It´s not a huge prize with a lot of different products as I see some bloggers have, but it´s a little personal gift from me to the lucky winner:-)

As some of you know, I work as a hairdresser (I just finished my first year as apprentice), and I thought it would be nice to give away a product that I personally love and use on a daily basis.
It´s a bottle of Moroccan Oil, one of my favorite hair treatments. It´s a 25ml bottle and perfect for bringing with you wherever you may go, be it the gym, sleepover, a party - or when you´re out traveling! :)

This oil contains lots of moisture, care and it also works as heat protection! Apply a little amount to towel dried hair, or dry hair during day if you´re having trouble with frizzy or dry hair :)

This is a brand new, un-opened/un-used product, only taken out of packaging to take photos.
It´s worth about GBP £14.50 / USD $21.50 / EUR 17.30 (I have converted the price based on the Norwegian cost).

I´m using Rafflecopter for the giveaway, and I think that will work out just fine :)
The giveaway will last for about 14 days, for some reason I thought that was a nice number.
Enough time for people to enter and enough time for me to check how this whole thing works out!
Oh, and as I said before, this is my first giveaway ever, so I hope I do everything right :)
I´m already looking forward to announce the winner :D

There is a couple of mandatory entries, such as "Follow via Twitter" and "Follow via GFC" - I wasn´t sure wether to set them as mandatory or not at first, but found out that it would be nice if the winner is a follower of my blog or twitter, or at least is in the "blogger world",  fair enough, don´t you agree?

Good luck to you all :)

Here´s a picture that you can use in your sidebar (if it´s too big please let me know and I´ll put up another one)

Happy Easter - I´ve been out crosscountry skiing!

The weather has been divine all week and even though I´ve been sick with the flu I had to go crosscountry skiing while the sun was still shining :)

I went with my mom and we had a lovely trip :)

I´m very lucky to be living so close to such a beautiful place.

Me looking all sporty and all...;)

We went for about an hour and we found a cute little spot and sat down for like 2.5 hrs just licking sun, having coffee and munching chocolate. I don´t think it can get more norwegian than this.

(it was my first crosscountry skiing trip in YEARS, but let´s not talk about that. I will be going again tomorrow;)

And of course I got this huge easter egg filled with candyyy !! :D *will not be showing candy as egg is already half-empty..nomnomnom..*

How are you all spending your holiday? :-)

The Body Shop Colorglide Lipstick #60 Cherry Sparkle

My sister had this and after trying it I fell in love right away!

When I went to buy it I got a little insecure about the color because on the swatches done in the shop it came out looking quite orange! Orange lipstick is NOT by any means a bad thing, I just got a "few" of them already;) And it wasn´t what I was looking for this time.

I got it anyways and when I tried it at home it was like when I first tried it, beautiful!!

Enjoy :)

It´s a lovely cherry red shade with a hint of orange and gold sparkle. Ain´t that a nice combo:)
I find it very moisturizing and it applies smoothly on my lips.

Even after hours of chatting and coffe drinking it´s still just as red and I would say the staying power is pretty good.

As you can see it is a nice bright red, but not so intense. You can layer it up to be less sheer, and that makes it perfect both day and night!

I´ve fallen completely in love with this and will be using it a lot !

Have you tried this?

Whats your favorite bright red shade suitable for both day and night?

Makeup Haul Thailand & Malaysia

I might have forgot all about this post.. :O Do not ask me why something as huge as this can be forgotten, but here we go :)

This is a small selection of what I was shopping on my vacation in Asia (last summer;)
I´m willing to go back JUST for the beauty brands and products....

The BB Cream on bottom left is the best I´ve tried ever, I would actually dare to say it´s better than my Dior Sculpt Foundation, not kidding, so for you guys who´s looking for a BB Cream that doesn´t cover up - don´t buy this. But for you that want coverage, but not the heaviness a foundation will give you - try it, at least mix it with your foundation. It lasts all day! I´m serious, I won´t use it no more, because I don´t want it to finish, and I can´t get it anywhere, not even online. Ffffffff.....
Guerlain Summer in the City Bronzing OMG it so pretty!
Victorias Secre gloss tubes, I was buying the coconut and vanilla perfume, but had to leave it because the saleswoman told me I couldn´t buy it afterall as I was boarding a connecting flight :(

Didn´t find much makeup in Vietnam really, I had to buy babypowder tho´ ;)

Nailpolishes from various markets in Bangkok, lovely shades! Cheap, not the best quality, but...cheap:)
Baby Powder... A must.. Smells so heavenly and fresh, especially the one with cool mint! Love using it on my face matting down foundation..
Lots of lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadows, lashes, blushes, liners, everything :)

Aaah I love makeup shopping in Asia :)

Viva La Diva Nude Lipstick Swatches & Review

This is one of the few (read: only) budget beauty brands I can find where I live (except Maybelline, Maxfactor, Loréal,  etc. - but those don´t count;).
I think the intention for this brand is reaching young girls and young teens, girls who have newly been introduced to makeup.
At least that´s what it looks like based on the design, the name, and the price. It´s very affordable compared to the other brands available.

It´s a swedish brand, and it´s stated on the packaging that the´re "against animal testing". If this is correct or not, I haven´t checked any further. But I hope they don´t state something like that on their products and still use ingredients tested on animals (??).
It also contains "softening Vitamine-E".

It has however some gems hidden behind that "girl-trying-makeup-for-the-first-time" image.
I really enjoy their lipsticks and eyeshadows, they´re both highly pigmented, and I feel you get a good piece of product when thinking about how affordable they are!

Price is about $12 / £8 (this is very cheap in Norway...;)

The packaging is cute. It´s clean and doesn´t feel "cheap" - no plastic! It also has "engraved rhinestones" on the top lid - cute!

This is lipstick #18 in the shade "Fudge". It glides super smoothly on my lips, and it has a light fresh scent to it. It is a very light nude shade, and can come off a little too pale if you´re applying to much on a very bronzed face.

It is a very nice color, and the nude collection comes in several nude shades, pink, beige, brown etc.
When it comes to the formula, I´m positively surprised. It can however be a little dry, but I would say that if you prep your lips before applying it won´t be a huge problem.

I have only tried two of the nude shades from this brand, and I don´t know how the staying power is for the other colors, let´s say for example a dark red or pink shade.

I would say that I have to re-apply product throughout the day. I personally don´t find that a problem when thinking about the price and the light shade. Also I talk much at work and drink a lot of coffee and water throughout the day so I would re-apply anyway.

It would be more annoying if it was a red shade, because they can easily look very bad if they get "worn out" during the day.

Is this my favorite Nude Lipstick?

No, it´s not. But it´s a perfect addition to my collection. This is a lipstick I would bring anywhere and not be afraid to for example loose when out on a party, or traveling etc.

Will I be purchasing again?

Yes, easily. It´s simply a lipstick for everyday use.

Do you have a lipstick that´s not particularly your favorite, but a great addition to your collection?

New Blog Design & Domain :)

Hey all!

As some of you may see, I have changed my design! It´s very clean and simple, but I thought it was time for a change and I hope you all like it.

Check out my new profile picture with supercute social icons! :)

And here´s my new header, isn´t the pink gorgeous?

I also changed my domain, as I use ´Miss Delirium´ all the time, I thought myself that it was a little confusing that my blog adress was www.deliriumish.com - and I wanted to claim WWW.MISSDELIRIUM.COM as long as it was still available ;-p

www.deliriumish.com is still there, so you´ll be redirected automatically, nothing you have to think about :)

I want to thank Kory at http://www.korywoodard.com/ for making my design and helping me redirecting my domain. She will also be making a logo/watermark for my pictures, and I can´t wait to start using it! :-)
She has listened to everything I have asked her for and it´s been a pleasure working with her.
I know that when I want a new change, be that the whole design or just some adjustments along the way, I will be contacting her:)

Also I´ve finally made a blog button (from the logo made by Kory), I hope the dimensions are OK, it shouldn´t be bigger than 200px..

Please feel free to leave me a link to your buttons, then we can exchange :)

If you´ll like to change your design, but don´t have the time (or the knowledge for that matter), or maybe you just don´t bother doing it yourself, you should definitely contact Kory. Visit her blog or send her an e-mail hello@korywoodard.com
